Brown Insurance Services was formed in 1952. When Professional Insurance Counselors merged with Brown Insurance Services in 1995, the company took a new name -- Butler-Brown. Named after the two principal owners, and native Iowans, with years of expertise: Ed Butler, CPCU, and Steve Brown, CPCU.
